Hello man, I would like to ask if it was possible to add the Monaco principality in the base map; I know it’s a very strange request but, I just would like to know if it was possible a mod work like that.

There would definitely be an issue with scaling as Monaco is so small on the map, I don’t do mapping anymore, maybe Promods or someone else will add it in the future.

I don’t get any of these errors, /modpl/ is not part of this mod, looks like you could be having some kind of conflict, you might need to show your game log

Yes it’s compatible with promods, have you placed version 2.5 above promods 2.46? When you get a crash you could post your game log at pastebin.com and I could check it out, maybe that will show the issue you’re having.

It is so wonderful!
For some reason it always crashes when I add mod that changes traffic density. (I think my laptop is not good enough for heavy traffic haha)
How can I remove the traffic density feature?

I’m not using any traffic density mod coz they call made the game crash.
But I think since this mod changes traffic density mod in Paris, it crashes everytime I go to Paris with this mod on.

Ah, I get what you’re saying, high traffic density causes issues with your laptop, open the Paris mod and delete the traffic_data.sii file from the def folder, that will decrease traffic density.

Hello, it’s Chaffinch again: I love the Paris Rebuild mod, because it is currently the only map that keeps the Eiffel Tower. However, it would be great to close the gap between the A4 and A13 in time for ETS2 1.38, and I have done the mapping of the missing link to save you time.

Just tried latest version for 1.38.
Kills FPS during day. So many cars and buses.
Could a Lite version be made with 50 percent fewer vehicles ?
At night, even in rain, no problems. It’s deffo the massive traffic lines in the day.

Open the mod and delete the traffic_data.sii file from the def folder, this will give you normal daytime traffic.

Just looked in my mods folder and am only seeing one Paris file…. an SCS file.
Doesn’t seem to be a separate traffic file to delete ?

You need to open the Paris scs file, just click on it and it should open with whichever extractor you have on your pc, then open the def folder and delete the traffic_data.sii file, then close, it might ask you if you want to repack the mod, click yes, or it might do it automatically. If you don’t have an extractor you can download winrar from https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm you can use it permanantely as a free trial, when it pops up with the ‘trial has ended’ window just close it.

Thanks, I don’t have any plans at the the moment to do any more mapping because of the time it takes, I did do a Berlin rebuild for the default map a couple of years ago but an update permanently broke it.

There’s a couple of small isues with building lights at night but overall it’s fine to use with 1.40.

Open the mod, then go to def folder and delete the traffic_data.sii file, this will reduce traffic and may help with your stuttering.

I’ve just tried to load this mod with ProMods 2.60 and upon first inspection, there appears to be a broken road north of Paris. Not sure if this is just because it needs to be updated to 1.43 or if a ProMods connection/fix may now be required to use with ProMods.

On the normal Promods map the road also ends there, it’s just with this mod the floating barriers are not there.

This Map seems to have a crash problem with v1.43. Perhaps some issues with the new City Valenciennes? Reported by my team with and without Promods.

Is there a way do use mod trucks or AI mod trucks in the editor or do I have to export them from blender?

In order to use non base models you’d need to learn about def files, pmds, pmgs, tobj, automat and dds files and how they link together. If you are just starting out with mapping/modding I suggest you use models from the base game for the time being, modding is complicated and takes a long time to learn, maybe try and find some guides and take it one step at a time.

Hi @Grimes, since update 1.49, the Paris rework crashes my game while everything worked perfectly with 1.48.5.
I wonder if it doesn’t come from the changes linked to the new sky, the stars and the moon.
Are you considering updating to 1.49?
